Applying Patch Instructions

Bottom Element Heat Press Instructions
• Peel white adhesive backing off patch and set it into place
• Recommended heat settings 280°-285°
• Press for 20-25 seconds at medium pressure

• To protect the patch, we recommend using a thin cotton cloth or heat pad over the patch when pressing

• Let completely cool and check edges
• Repeat if needed

Dual Element Heat Press Instructions

• Top Heat-285deg

• Bottom Heat-300deg

• 10sec pre-press

• 15sec press

• Light-Medium pressure

• To protect the patch, we recommend using a thin cotton cloth or heat pad over the patch when pressing

• Let completely cool and check edges
• Repeat if needed

Home iron Instructions
• Highest heat setting
• No water in iron “No Steam”
• Peel white adhesive backing paper off patch and set it into place
• Cover patch with towel, shirt, or cloth to protect leather from the direct iron
• Press with good amount of pressure for 25-30 seconds
• Let completely cool and check edges
• Repeat if needed

Please Note: It is very important to cover the patch when pressing to avoid burning. These are just suggestions. Every heat press and irons are different so proceed with caution.

Cleaning Procedures

• Gently wash the hat with a mild hand soap and a soft brush. Avoid harsh chemicals, detergents, or scrubbing the leather patch. 

• Avoid Washing Machine and Dryer

• Air Dry-After hand washing, let the hat air dry completely. 

• Leather Care:

Apply a leather conditioner to the leather patch after cleaning to help maintain its moisture and prevent cracking.
